Week 5-6 Process

This week our team finished animation and damage feedback for the main character Fire. Fixed unique concept, core loop and smart depth. We made the firstplay prototype and did the first playingtest. In this prototype, we've created basic enemies, drops (seeds), elemental buffs, and interaction between the player and the terrain. But we haven't perfected my crafting buff system, which causes problems with my core loop, we will continue to make improvements so that we can improve our core loop. Over the next week, we'll be refining our first few level designs and making them into production. Design unique buffs and elemental interaction buffs at the same time. The problem we have to solve after the playingtest is that the Repel (Knockback) animation is too long.Game difficulty level is too high.Attack range is incorrect.Knockback physics need improvement. Need for a do-over prompt outside the character drop map.Need for an invincible frame to protect the player. Monster AI needs improvement.Obstacles block monsters and need to be modified. Need for an animation to indicate the player can hug the wall and jump. Character animations are visually appealing and well-detailed.
